FÉLIX AUGER-ALIASSIME THIRD TOP-5 PLAYER AT ABN AMRO OPEN

Former champion and world number five Félix Auger-Aliassime has added the 53rd ABN AMRO Open to his 2026 schedule. After Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev, he is the third top-5 player on the entry list. The Canadian will compete in Rotterdam Ahoy for the eighth time. In 2022, he captured the tournament title.

Tournament director Richard Krajicek: "Félix Auger-Aliassime has a strong connection with the ABN AMRO Open. Not only did he make his ATP Tour debut in Rotterdam, he also won his very first title here. Considering how often he has already played here, it’s almost unbelievable that he is only twenty-five years old. At the moment, he may well be playing the best tennis of his career, as evidenced by his fifth place—his highest ranking ever.”

Eight titles

After his first tournament victory in Rotterdam, Auger-Aliassime went on to win seven more ATP titles, all on hard courts. In 2025, he claimed titles in Adelaide, Montpellier and Brussels. In addition, he reached the finals in Dubai and Paris (indoors) this year. These results lifted him to fifth place on the ATP year-end rankings.

Auger-Aliassime in Rotterdam

Félix Auger-Aliassime made his debut in Rotterdam in 2018. It was a special debut, as it was also his very first main-draw match at an ATP Tour event. With seven appearances since, he has clearly proven to feel at home in Ahoy. At his second appearance in 2020, he reached the final, where he was beaten by Gaël Monfils. Two years later, he took the final step towards the title by defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final and winning the 2022 ABN AMRO Open.

With Alcaraz, Zverev, Auger-Aliassime and De Minaur, four players from the world’s top 10 have already been announced.
