Experience on top of tennis

While tennisfans can indulge themselves around the courts or follow clinics by top tennis players, Rotterdam Ahoy is also a sporty paradise for younger people. Children to whom tennis normally seems completely out of reach, can explore tennis through the ABN AMRO Foundation. On Sunday Funday all spotlights are focused on the youth. Furthermore, you can chase your heroes' autographs, test your speed at the service canon, take a picture with the trophy, play a game of padel and much more! The full program will be available right before the tournament on our website.

The ABN AMRO Open is known, among other things, for its theme days throughout tournament week, with an interesting and fun programme for everyone besides watching top tennis! For example, on Wednesday we organise Kids Day with a special programme and fare and on Thursday #NextGen Day.

Sports Plaza

Get Active at Sports Plaza! Once again, Sports Plaza takes over an entire hall, packed with fun, exciting, and sporty activities! Join a tennis clinic, test yourself in one of the many challenges, and win amazing prizes. There’s something for all ages and skill levels—from beginners to advanced players. And the best part? All clinics are free!

What can you expect?

• Ziggo Service Cannon - Measure your serve speed in the service cage. Will you have the fastest serve of all?
• Tennis with the Stars - Hit some balls with top players at Sports Plaza.
• Photo with Ballie - Meet Ballie! He gives a clinic in the afternoon and makes an appearance around centre court in the evening.
• Wheelchair Clinics - Experience wheelchair tennis under the guidance of tournament director Esther Vergeer and ABN AMRO Open players.
• Disco Clinics - The ultimate music & tennis show! Join the Disco Prize Game Clinic with Ballie and the ABN AMRO Open DJ.
• KNLTB Talent Challenges - Show off your skills in the KNLTB Challenges: Reaction Challenge VR Tennis The Silent Swing Crossnet Rally and many more! Ballie’s Prize Wheel - Completed your challenge card? Spin Ballie’s Prize Wheel and win cool prizes!
